]]> Candescent Films produces award winning documentary films that examine a wide range of important cultural, social and political issues. In 2010, motivated by interests in social injustice and a passion for film, Lilly Hartley founded Candescent Films to support film makers who courageously aim public attention towards relevant, and often overlooked, volatile issues arising in the world today.

In Spring 2104, I began developing Candescent’s new website (with initial designs by the prestigious Ro & Co) utilizing the Squarespace platform. It’s a heavily modified theme utilizing both Squarespace’s interface and front end code (HTML/CSS/Javascript) for interactivity, content management, responsive functionality and social media sharing. From time to time, I also edited various film promos and designed updated page layouts.

A scrapbook, of unutilized gems with the potential of becoming a key element to a great future development project! This is that page! As time goes on, this area may house revolving content as new, or unfinished, projects become realized.
